Statement on Religious Education Fees - 2010 - 2011
Saint Luke Religious Education Program is subsidized by the parish along with the religious education fees. It is through your generosity and involvement as well as that of many other parishioners that enables us to share faith and provide support materials that help in that sharing of faith.
The following fee structure is the suggested minimum for parishioners. However, no child
or youth in the parish will be denied faith formation due to inability to pay fees. Please
speak to Fr. Brad Schoeberle, Fr. Don Andrie, or Ms. Beth Price if there are special
circumstances.
Basic fee structure for D/K through grade 12:
- Cost per child/youth: $50 ($55 after October 31st)
- The maximum fee per family is $150.
- Catechists choosing to teach in the program may elect to have their fees waved.
- Alternative Fee for parishioners participating in St. Luke Scrip Program
- $30 per child + Scrip purchase
[In choosing to participate in the Scrip Program you are helping the entire parish in its overall fund raising efforts. A suggested minimum amount of Scrip would be the equivalent
of $20 contribution per child. Amounts of rebates to parish vary with different scrip
certificates/cards purchased.]
- Other Fees: Occasionally other fees for transportation, special materials, retreats may be
needed (especially in the Sacramental and Youth Ministry programs). While we
often try to meet these needs through fund raising, or have generous people donate
to a particular event, the possibility does exist of an additional fee for special needs.
Unless other arrangements are made, fees are due at the time of registration.
