As we begin Lent, join us on this day when we remember our need to turn back to God (repent) and to look to the needs of our neighbors. As we receive ashes on our forehead and hear the words "Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return" or "Turn away from sin and be faithful to the gospel," we are reminded that we were created not just for this world, but for the next. Live in this world, but live for the next! Everyone, no matter what denomination, is welcome to receive ashes.
